Disney World

A Birthday/Bachelorette Trip

Hi friends!

I just got back from the most magical girls’ trip to Walt Disney World! We went to celebrate my friend’s bachelorette and her birthday, which honestly is the perfect excuse to go full full on Disney mode for a weekend.

There’s just something about Disney, the music, the snacks, the fireworks, the nostalgia that makes you feel like a kid again. I love it, and am planning my first Disney Cruise next month.

Let’s get into it — where we stayed, the parks we visited, what made it special, and a few things I’d definitely do again.

Where We Stayed: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

We stayed at Coronado Springs, and I was genuinely so impressed. Growing up, we had only stayed at deluxe resorts, so I was unsure about moderate resorts. My last trip in May, we stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside, and I was so impressed! Back to Coronado! The resort has this beautiful Spanish-inspired vibe, and it feels a little more elevated and peaceful than some of the more character-heavy Disney hotels (which was kind of perfect for a bachelorette group).

The room was spacious and modern. I absolutely loved it.

The property is BIG, but in a “let’s take a sunset stroll around the water” kind of way. I hear a LOT of complaints about the sizes of some of the resorts, but with the bust stops spread out across the property, I haven’t experienced any issues. The Gran Destino Tower is stunning, and everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed.

One of my favorite parts? Grabbing coffee in the morning and walking around the lake before heading to the parks.
